Ethics Alert

Whistleblowing Hotline from MNP Forensics

All professional anti-fraud organizations and leading guidance agree; one of the most effective ways to detect fraud is through tips from employees, business partners, and vendors. Establishing a whistleblowing hotline is a valuable tool for obtaining those reports. It is estimated that organizations with a hotline, 47% of frauds were detected by tips while in organizations without hotlines only 34% were detected by tip. In 40% of all cases, a hotline report was the first indication of a potential problem.*
